MISSION
The ProteomeXchange consortium has been set up to provide a single point of submission to proteomics repositories, and encourage the data exchange and sharing of identifiers between the repositories so that the community may easily find datasets in the participating repositories.
ProteomeXchange has now been funded beginning January 2011 with a grant from the European Commission. A new web site with expanded information is currently under development and will be released shortly.

ProteomeXchange Site Launched - February 9, 2009: The ProteomeXchange web site was launched today based on efforts by the founding partners of ProteomeXchange: PRIDE, Tranche, and PeptideAtlas.
